Carrie Underwood Peduli Korban Banjir

Bekerja sama dengan ACM Lifting Lives, penyanyi country Carrie Underwood mendirikan yayasan untuk membantu korban banjir di Nashville, Tennessee, Amerika Serikat. Banjir besar pada 10 Mei itu kabarnya menewaskan 20 orang dan membuat ribuan orang kehilangan rumah.

Underwood memberi nama yayasan itu seperti salah satu lagu miliknya, Temporary Home. Nama itu sengaja dipilih untuk menunjukkan kebutuhan yang sangat mendesak bagi korban banjir.
”Tahun lalu aku bermitra dengan ACM Lifting Lives membantu warga di tanah kelahiranku, Checotah, Oklahoma. Sekarang aku membantu masyarakat di kota tempat tinggalku, Nashville,” tutur Underwood yang lahir di Checotah, 10 Maret 1983.
ACM Lifting Lives adalah salah satu anak yayasan Academy of Country Music. Yayasan ini bertujuan meningkatkan kualitas hidup masyarakat melalui musik.
Pelantun lagu ”Jesus, Take The Wheel” dan ”Before He Cheats” ini pekan depan akan tampil kembali di panggung American Idol musim kesembilan. Juara American Idol musim keempat ini akan membawakan singelnya, ”Undo It”.

Justin Bieber tidak berpangku tangan melihat korban bencana banjir di Nashville, Tenneesee, Amerika Serikat. Penyanyi remaja itu menggelar konser amal.

Justin menggelar konser bertajuk ‘My World’ di Bridgestones Arena, Rabu, 11 Agustus. Hasil penjualan tiket konser yang dipromotori oleh AEG Live itu lalu disumbangkan untuk korban banjir melalui lembaga sosial The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee.
Dalam konser sebelumnya, pelantun Baby itu bersama Miranda Cosgrove dan Kris Allen juga menyerahkan cek senilai USD33 ribu atau sekira Rp296 juta.
“Musik adalah bagian dari hidup saya sejak lama dan Anda tahu bahwa Nashville menyimpan banyak sejarah tentang musik di sini,” ungkap Bieber yang dikutip Associated Press, Jumat (13/8/2010).
Seperti diketahui, banjir yang melanda Nashville pada Mei lalu menewaskan 22 orang di seluruh negara bagian. Akibat bencana itu, nilai kerugian di Nasville ditaksir mencapai USD2 miliar.(ang)

Ringkasan Cerita FILM HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS: PART 2 (2011) :

Voldemort (Ralph Fiennes) telah berhasil mendapatkan Elder Wand setelah ia membongkar makam Dumbledore (Michael Gambon). Voldemort yakin kini tak ada lagi yang bisa menghalanginya. Harry Potter (Daniel Radcliffe) pun tak akan bisa berbuat apa-apa lagi sekarang.

Tanpa sepengetahuan Voldemort, Harry Potter ternyata melihatnya dari sisi lain. Harry tahu ia lebih baik mencari Horcruxes milik Voldemort daripada memburu Elder Wand. Masalahnya, salah satu Horcruxes ini ternyata ada di Hogwarts dan Harry, Hermione, dan Ron harus kembali ke tempat mereka mengawali perjalanan berbahaya ini. Celakanya, Voldemort pun menyusul ke Hogwarts dan berencana menghancurkan semua yang ada di sana.

Pertempuran pun tak bisa lagi dihindarkan. Entah sudah berapa banyak korban yang jatuh namun Voldemort tak akan berhenti sampai ia berhasil membunuh Harry Potter.
